(Feb. 9, 2023) Personnel from Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fire and Emergency Services provide support to an individual during the active shooter exercise held at the MWR Cabin at Northwest Annex. The exercise is part of Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain 2023 (CS-SC 23), a two-part, force protection exercise that is being conducted nationwide on Navy installations Feb. 6-17. The annual exercise is not in response to any specific threat, but is used to evaluate the readiness of fleet and installation security programs.
