U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Amy Junio, a motor vehicle operator with 2nd Transportation Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group conducts joint limited tactical inspections on a medium tactical vehicle replacement (MTVR) in preparation for a pier side offload during Maritime Pre-Positioning Force Exercise (MPFEX) 23 on Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island, Florida, Feb. 2, 2023. MPFEX 23 is a military exercise allowing Marines and Sailors to work together offloading and processing military equipment from a single MPF ship, the USNS Bobo. The exercise is a rehearsal of the Marines and Sailors’ ability to conduct safe, efficient offloads while in a tactical environment to enhance the rapid and scalable deployment of naval expeditionary forces.
