The Commanding General of II Marine Expeditionary Force, U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. David A. Ottignon, greets the Commandant of the Netherlands Marine Corps, Brigadier General Jan Hut, before their office call on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 25, 2023. The leaders met to discuss the state of the two organizations’ maritime capabilities and continuing to align future training and force design concepts. Through exchange programs, frequent bilateral training, and contributions to multinational efforts, II MEF and NLMC continue to demonstrate the value of enduring military partnerships.
