PACIFIC OCEAN (NOV. 12, 2022) – U.S. Marine Corps GySgt. Jesse Gardner, bottom, a battery gunnery sergeant and Sgt. Gregory Subject, top, an artillery section chief, both with Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, ground fight in celebration of Sgt. Subject’s reenlistment, aboard amphibious transport dock USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Nov. 12. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
