Dominick Merete, an artillery cannoneer crewman with Battalion Landing Team 2/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes notes during an ammunition class for the M777 155mm Lightweight Howitzer aboard amphibious transport dock USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Nov. 17, 2022. A force in readiness, cannoneers with the 13th MEU train to rapidly respond to crises in all domain environments through naval power projection.
