U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Kareem D. Alexander, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, with Platoon 1002, graduates as the honor graduate for Alpha Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, Jan. 6, 2022. Alexander earned this distinction over 13 weeks of training by outperforming other recruits in his company during a series of training events designed to test their basic Marine Corps skills.
