EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Rear Adm. Wesley McCall, Commander, Navy Region Southeast, shakes hands with Marine Sgt. Juan Tangarife, F-35 B/C safety equipment technician, prior to receiving a tour of the F-35 B/C simulated cockpit at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Detachment there in November. Tangarife stated that McCall's visit was "a boost in pride" for what he does. Together they shared some time in the cockpit, including having the admiral strapping into the seat while discussing the unique features the F-35 aircraft has to offer.
