CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2022) – Command Master Chief C.J. Eison (center), Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC), oversees a simulated combat casualty scenario by Marines of 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines and Sailors assigned to the Naval Expeditionary Medical Training Institute (NEMTI), during Operation Firebreak, November 15, 2022. Operation Firebreak is an exercise designed to evaluate operational readiness this iteration specifically focused on the Role 2 providers and the in-field surgical readiness of ERSS team 29 and Fleet Surgical Team 5.
