PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 19, 2022) Navy Counselor 1st Class Leo Zhang, left, conducts non-lethal weapons training on the flight deck aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Nov. 19, 2022. Non-lethal weapons training better trains the ship’s crew to effectively protect the ship. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and John P.
