JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Washington- U.S. Army Soldiers with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), soldiers with Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry, and soldiers with Canadian Special Operations Regiment, conduct an airborne jump during Menton Week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Dec. 06. Menton Week is an annual week-long remembrance of the deactivation of the First Special Service Force during World War II. The FSSF is considered a predecessor to modern U.S. Army Special Forces.
