BIBRA LAKE, Australia (Dec. 2, 2022) - Sonar Technician (Submarine) 1st class Sean Benedict and Chief Sonar Technician (Submarine) Daniel Nelson, both assigned to the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Mississippi (SSN 782), alongside Consul General Siriana Nair of the U.S. Consulate General Perth and Karen Clarkson, wildlife rehabilitation and rescue center hospital manager, interact with various wildlife while conducting an interview with local media during a community outreach event in Bibra Lake, Australia on Dec. 2. Mississippi is visiting Royal Australian Navy HMAS Stirling Naval Base, Australia to enhance interoperability, communication, and strengthen relationships among like-minded nations.
