The 174th Attack Wing buried a time capsule in celebration of its 75-year anniversary at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base Dec. 4, 2022. Items from units across the wing and the local community, as well as items contained in the previous time capsule (buried on the wing's 40th anniversary in 1987), were compiled into the new time capsule, to be opened in commemoration of the wing's 100th anniversary, on October 28, 2047. The 174th Attack Wing has a unique history dating back to 1947.
