Musicians with the 11th Airborne Division Band play seasonal tunes and Christmas carols during the Operation Santa Claus celebration at the Trapper School in Nuiqsut, Alaska, Nov. 29, 2022. Santa, Mrs. Claus and more than three dozen elves from the Alaska Air and Army National Guard partnered with the Salvation Army to deliver 1,420 pounds of gifts, hygiene supplies, and books to 191 children. Celebrating 67 years of Operation Santa Claus, a 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard HC-130J Combat King II aircraft served as Santa's sleigh, delivering tidings of good cheer to the North Slope Borough community.
