The soldiers from the 1/102nd are shown during their UAS Threat Awareness training. The soldiers from the D Co 114th Infantry were also trained in UAS Identification and C-UAS Reality Trainer. The UAS is known as “Unmanned Aircraft Systems” or in short as you may hear “drone”. These drones are used throughout the military to support firefighting, rescue operations, access to critical infrastructure, disaster relief and other national emergencies.
