Command Sgt. Maj. James Westgate Jr., outgoing command sergeant major of the 3643rd Brigade Support Battalion, is awarded the New Hampshire Army National Guard Commendation Medal during his retirement ceremony Nov. 6 at Joint Force Headquarters in Concord.
During his ceremony, Westgate was presented with the New Hampshire Army National Guard Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service and succession of both technician and leadership positions of greater importance and responsibilities to the 197th Field Artillery Brigade.
