Brig. Gen. Wanda Williams, commander of the 7th Mission Support Command, the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe, provides words of gratitude and encouragement to Soldiers and Families during a mobilization ceremony, Wednesday, November 23, at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Kaiserslautern, Germany, honoring the 446th Movement Control Battalion.
The unit is mobilizing in support of U.S. Army Europe – Africa's Operation European Assure, Deter, and Reinforce. This is the first mobilization of a European-based, Army Reserve unit in a decade. U.S. Army Reserve units mobilize and deploy in support of missions across the globe, augmenting active-duty counterparts and bridging gaps in capabilities.
