Electronics Technician 3rd Class Nicholas Vandesteen carries a firehose during a general quarters drill on the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during the training exercise Silent Wolverine while underway as part of the Gerald R. Exercise Silent Wolverine is a U.S.-led, combined training exercise that tests Ford-class aircraft carrier capabilities through integrated high-end naval warfare scenarios alongside participating allies in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean.
