Col. Erick Wiedmeier, commander, 97th Troop Command, receives a briefing from a soldier in the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces how they would respond to an airplane crash, Sept. 20, 2022, in Kenitra, Morocco, during joint exercise Maroc Mantlet. The briefing was to explain how the Moroccans would extinguish an airplane fire and extricate personnel inside. Maroc Mantlet benefits both the United States and Morocco in building a stronger partnership.
