Maj. Gen. John B. Richardson IV, 1st Cavalry Division commanding general delivered the game ball during the Commander’s Cup 2022 as the U.S. Military Academy - West Point Black Knights faced the U.S. Air Force Academy Falcons on Nov. 5 in Arlington, Texas. “It feels great to be on the field with these young Air Force and Army cadets knowing they are battling it out during the game, but they have also volunteered to support and defend the Constitution of the United States,” said Richardson. “I have a lot of respect for the paths that they chose.”
