Meet US Army Specialist Nathan Martinez with F-Co, 325th Brigade Support Battalion based on Oahu, at Pohakuloa Training Area on the Big Island, participating in the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center 23-01 exercise. He is a 15Q MOS air traffic controller with 1 year 7 months under his belt. He says he chose this career field because her "heard it was challenging and fun." In 2007, PTA was first in the state to integrate Soldiers with this MOS to the Bradshaw Army Airfield Air Traffic Control Tower, providing them with valuable hands-on experience. Since then, Wheeler Army Airfield on Oahu has also opened their tower for this real-world training experience.
