Saginaw Spirit Warriors Disabled Veterans competed in a charity game against Law Dogs, a team of cops and lawyers, at the Dow Event Center, Mi., December, 2021.
The Spirit Warriors Hockey Program was created for disabled Veterans providing a therapeutic, educational, and developmental setting though the sport of hockey. Veterans are welcome to join the program with or without any prior hockey experience, meeting USA Hockey Warrior Division requirements with a Purple Heart or VA rating of 10% or greater.
