Ray Rivers and CFAC Senior Enlisted Leader, Command Senior Chief Matthew Haylow cut the birthday cake, in accordance with Navy tradition as the oldest and youngest Sailors present, during the CFAC Navy Ball held Oct. 13 in celebration of the U.S. Navy’s 247th birthday. The theme of the U.S. Navy’s 247th birthday was "On Watch - 24/7 for 247 Years," which highlighted the Navy's enduring ability to remain fully ready to respond to and effectively deter emergent threats.
