Tim Clark, program manager for in-service ballistic missile submarines observe Trident Refit Facility Bangor’s (TRFB) periscope shop rig and relocate a periscope during a visit centered on the upgrades needed in order to be ready to maintain the Ohio-class replacement boats scheduled to enter service in the coming years. TRFB employs more than 2,000 civilian & military personnel in support of our nation’s strategic deterrent mission by repairing, incrementally overhauling, and modernizing ballistic missile submarines in the Pacific Fleet.
