Families of participants in the 47th Marine Corps Marathon made motivational signs to display for the runners at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 30, 2022. Participants from around the world raced on the monumental MCM course through Washington, D.C., finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington, Virginia.
