HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (Oct. 29, 2022) Vice Adm. Angus Topshee, commander, Royal Canadian Navy, gives remarks during a press conference at HMCS Scotian on the interoperability of The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG) during the ships first international port visit to Halifax, Oct. 29. The GRFCSG is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO Allies and partners to enhance integration for future operations and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to a peaceful, stable and conflict-free Atlantic region.
