An F/A-18E Super Hornet, attached to the "Tomcatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 31, lands on the flight deck of the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) as the ship steams in formation with Danish frigate HDMS Peter Willemoes (F362), and Dutch frigate HNLMS De Zeven Provincien (F 802), Oct. 25, 2022. The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG) is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO Allies and partners to enhance integration for future operations and demonstrate the U.S. Navy’s commitment to a peaceful, stable and conflict-free Atlantic region.
