Sgt. Donald R. Tharp, a radiology technologist with Company C, Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, uses a portable X-ray machine on Spc. Javon T. Jones, a petroleum specialist also in 2nd BCT, at a forward operating base on Dona Ana Range Complex, N.M., during Network Integration Evaluation 13.1, Oct. 16. Tharp said the portable X-ray machine could be used to help diagnose anything from the common cold to severe fractures.
