Soldiers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, set up a Romer Net antenna during Network Integration Evaluation 13.1 at Dona Ana Range Complex, N.M., Oct. 16. The device is designed to allow aircraft and soldiers on the ground to instantly communicate with each other without worrying about correct frequency settings, and is under evaluation for prospective use by the Army.
