REYNOSA, Mexico (Oct. 16, 2022) Joint Task Force Civil Support, U.S. Army North, and senior Mexican military leadership attend an exercise-controller overview brief in preparation for exercise Fuerzas Amigas on Campo Militar Reynosa, Oct. 16, 2022. FA22 is a binational disaster-response exercise between the U.S. and Mexican militaries Oct. 17-21, along the U.S.-Mexican border. The purpose of this annual exercise is to improve readiness and strengthen the two nations’ cooperative relationship. U.S. Army North, through Joint Task Force Civil Support will serve as the command-and-control element directing U.S. troops conducting a natural disaster response exercise alongside Mexican military forces.
