U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Company (CLC) 21 and U.S. Airmen with 16th Airlift Squadron load an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System onto a C-17 Globemaster III at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 18, 2022. U.S. Marines and Airmen loaded the HIMARS onto the aircraft during Exercise Rolling Thunder 23-1, a live-fire artillery event that tested 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division’s ability to operate in a littoral environment against a simulated peer-level threat.
