Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) kicked off the Health and Wellness department’s Week of Wellness fair, Oct. 17, 2022. The week-long event covers a broad range of topics all aimed at improving one’s overall health and wellness. Jacqueline Arvizu, NMCSD Health and Wellness Department division officer speaks with Capt. Kim Davis, NMCSD director about the department's Week of Wellness activities. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in Southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
