GULFPORT, Miss. (Sep. 29, 2022) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, pour concrete at the Port of Gulfport. The concrete pour is to create a new signal tower pad enabling the Port of Gulfport and the local Coast Guard to be able to operate the port 24 hours a day. NMCB 1 is conducting an intense homeport training plan to expand their ability to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater operations.
