YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct 3, 2022) – USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) Sailors operate a firefighting hose during mobility damage control warfare (MOB-D) assessment training aboard the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship Oct. 3, 2022. The MOB-D assessments are a series of drills designed to assess a ship’s proficiency in responding to emergencies and keeping the ship afloat in emergency situations. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
