221004-M-VR919-1029 SAN FRANCSICO (October 4, 2022) U.S. Marines assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 11, Task Force San Francisco, and Sailors assigned to assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), the guided missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), and Academy of Art University students, mentor children from the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco as part of Hoops with the Troops at the Port of San Francisco, Oct. 4, 2022. SFFW is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of the city and its surrounding areas.
