MANILA, PHILIPPINES (Sept. 14, 2022) Sailors assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) participate in a community relations (COMREL) event with Li’l Brave Hearts, an organization dedicated to assisting families of children with Down syndrome, during a port visit in Manila, Philippines, Sept. 14. Higgins is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
