A football-field sized American flag in the shape of the United States, Sept. 18, 2022, is spread out across the practice field on the grounds of Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, for a flag unfurling rehearsal before the San Francisco 49ers home opener football game against the Seattle Seahawks. Nine Airmen from the California Air National Guard’s 129th Rescue Wing were spread out around the flag to serve as point-persons and team leads for season ticket holders who also served on the flag unfurling detail.
