A second nursing station for the 189th Airlift Wing was officially opened during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 189th Logistics Readiness Squadron, on Sept. 8, 2022, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The room was strategically placed in the 189th LRS in order to provide a designated space for one of the wing’s largest squadrons and its breastfeeding mothers. The second room was created after a department-wide policy for nursing and lactation rooms was published in November 2016 encouraging military facilities to provide space for nursing mothers.
