MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON (Aug. 30, 2022) – A role player fills a jug with purified water provided by U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, during a foreign humanitarian assistance exercise in order to provide clean drinking water to the local populace, Aug. 30. A force in readiness, the 13th MEU trains to rapidly respond to crises in all domain environments with the help of naval power projection. Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU are embarked aboard the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) conducting integrated training operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
