Soldiers from Fort Jackson’s 165th Infantry Brigade stand in a moment of silence for nine minutes and 11 seconds after a flag flown at the World Trade Center during recovery operations was raised in remembrance of 9/11. The brigade spent Sept. 8 at Patton Field conducting endurance events to remember and honor those who perished during the attack.
