Prior to the opening of the first Fields of Honor event in Palos Hills, Ill., Sept. 10, 2022, a bagpiper plays amazing grace. Fields of Honor is a national program that honors veterans in a visual way, where family and friends can sponsor a flag in the name of their loved one who has served and passed.
