U.S. Air Force Maj. Crystal Gomez, a nurse with U.S. Air Forces, Central Command (AFCENT), briefed the Exercise Command Group on medical support for the culminating parachute event, the ‘Friendship Jump,’ with Jordanian Armed Forces Lt. Shaima Zghoul, a military physician, as part of Exercise Eager Lion 22, September 10, 2022. The Exercise Command Group medical planners are expecting 170 people from the multilateral exercise to participate in the free-fall and static-line parachute jump September 13. Eager Lion 22, a multilateral exercise hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is key to building trust with new partners, while allowing us to sustain mature relationships that highlight the value of operating in unfamiliar environments, maximizing our collective strengths and building interoperability. Jordan is one of U.S. Central Command’s (USCENTCOM) strongest and most reliable partners in the Levant sub-region. (U.S. Army photo by Cpt. Olivia Cobiskey)
