U.S. Air Force Military Working Dog Zzakira gets examined by U.S Air Force Maj. Richard Wood, a medical responder assigned to the 673d Medical Group emergency room, at the medical training facility on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sept. 1, 2022. The 673d Medical Group held its first-ever Joint Tactical Combat Casualty Care–K-9 course geared toward exposing military emergency providers, doctors, and independent medical technicians to basic emergency medical care for military working dogs.
