During a patrol, Jan. 17, Alpha Team, 3rd Platoon Soldiers engage a gathering of citizens asking if they knew of anyone interested in joining the CLC group which the troop was trying to setup for the of the town of Ad Duluyiah, Iraq. According to the cavalry Soldiers of Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), in order to set the conditions for citizens, they needed to engage the local population of town.
