U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. John Lamontagne, USAFE-AFAFRICA deputy commander, visits with the F-35 weapon load standardization Airmen with the 48th Munitions Squadron during his tour of the F-35 facilities at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, Aug. 31, 2022. Lamontagne is visiting RAF Lakenheath as part of his immersion tour throughout USAFE-AFAFRICA and met with Airmen who play key roles in supporting and executing Europe’s only F-35 mission, which enhances NATO’s defense and deterrence posture.
