VRC Metal Systems Inc.’s cold spray system applies a powdered aluminum coating to an aluminum sheet inside the company’s CAMP Site, a self-supporting portable cold spray system, Aug. 26 during the Repair Technology Exercise, or REPTX, at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). The CAMP Site provides a fully functional cold spray booth with robotics, dust collection, cold spray system, power generation and high-pressure gas generation inside a portable spray booth.
