220823-N-XL376-1007 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 23, 2022) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) returns to homeport, Aug. 23. Fitzgerald, a part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, returned to Naval Base San Diego, following a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleets in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
