PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 4, 2022) An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician assigned to EOD Mobile Unit 5 fast-ropes from an MH-60S Sea Hawk attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 15 on to the flight deck aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) while conducting operations in the Philippine Sea, Aug. 4. Higgins is assigned to Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
