U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Darius Banaji, deputy director for operations for the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), honors the fallen during a disinterment ceremony August 11, 2022, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. The disinterred remains were transferred to the DPAA laboratory for identification.
