Woodstown, N.J., native 1st Lt. Joshua Ollek (center), a platoon leader with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, and Jackson, N.J., native Pfc. Christopher Carbone (right), a medic, get the thumbs up from a family of displaced squatters after the paratroopers dropped off some supplies to help them get through the winter, Jan. 15. After sectarian violence forced the family to flee their home in another part of Baghdad, they now live in a squalid, makeshift shelter with other refugees in the Sha'ab neighborhood. Because the camp lacks basic amenities, 2-325 paratroopers have pitched in with supplies to help the families get through the cold winter months.
