Springfield, Mass. native 1st Lt. Austin Dziengelewski, a platoon leader with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, gets information from a family of displaced squatters after discovering their refugee camp, Jan. 14. After sectarian violence forced the family to flee their home in another part of Baghdad, they now live in a squalid, makeshift shelter with other refugees in the Sha'ab neighborhood, where 2-325 operates. Later that night, the paratroopers dropped off some supplies to help the family get through the winter.
